These socks are SUPER comfortable! They stay in place great and don't work their way down to bunch at your toes. I rated them at 4 instead of 5 because I'd like them to keep my feet a little bit warmer in the cold. No complaints though.

I purchased these socks for an upcoming Grizzly hunt in Alaska. The climate I will be in will require the warmest clothing I can purchase. During a recent cold winter storm I was able to wear these socks for the first time. My feet remained warm and dry why hunting. They were very comfortable while both walking and standing. These will be the socks I will use on my upcoming hunt. I would highly recommend these socks to anyone hunting or working in the extreme cold.

These didn't last for 12 weeks before blowing out the heels and toes and they aren't that warm.

88% Merino Lambswool, 10% Stretch Nylon, 2% Spandex
I like both socks, though the Extreme Cold feel like they compress my feet less than the All Purpose ones.
