RedHead Extreme Cold Socks for Men
Not even cold socks let alone extreme cold
These socks were part of a first purchaseXmas gift from my wife from Bass Pro Shops. These socks should NEVER be called "Extreme Cold" socks. I am a Mailman in the Sudbury, Ontario area and wore these socks only one day in Dec 2011 when the temperature was between -4F to -13F in winter boots while I walked my mailroute delivering. These socks did NOT keep my feet warm at all and winters get much colder than this in Jan and Feb. I am 60 and diabetic and really need to keep my feet warm. These might be good for fall or spring conditions - definately NOT for winter. This is a real pain considering time taken to return items for exchange from Canada

This item may be a good purchase if you don't put the socks on while traveling to your hunting destination. The first time I wore them was with a 800 gram insulated boot and my feet just about suffocated. I also own a pair of the under armor brand hunting socks and they are far superior in keeping your feet warm and comfortable..

My husband and I bought these socks before heading to Germany for a week in Bavaria for the Christmas markets. We spent a lot of time outside during the day as well as walking the Christmas markets each evening. Our feet were NEVER COLD!!!!!! These socks were perfect! We've also been wearing them back at home in Michigan on an almost daily basis. Highly recommend!

They work good
I use these socks when I am float tubing in the Eastern Sierras where the water is in the 20 degree range. These socks do a fairly good job of keeping my feet warm inside my waders and wading boots. I find that my toes will start to get a little cold after several hours in the water. So far, these have held up and I have not had any quality issues; however, I have only used them a handful of times. All in all, not a bad pair.
