I purchased this knife in the Springfield, Mo. store prior to the Texas deer season. I have 6-7 other knifes I carry in my hunting pack. On Opening Day I cleaned my deer and helped with three other hunters for a total of 7 deer and the knife did an amazing job. The grip was slip proof even though it was covered with blood and the blade remained sharp throughout. A small touch up with a steel between deer was all it took. Great knife and a great price.

I had picked up the knife earlier today which I haven't really had the chance to play with the knife quite yet. However I don't exactly how the sheath was designed because the plastic insert came right out along with the knife still attached to the plastic insert. So to solve this problem Gorilla Glue to glue the plastic insert down inside the sheath where it should be. Also the knife sharpener at first look to be very cheesy and would most likely won't stand up to the abuse that I give to the sharpeners where I actually replaced that knife sharpener with one that I already had.

great solid knife. slip proof grip. very sharp.
only drawback is the sheath. looks like something you would find at a swap meet. Im planning on constructing my own kydex sheath. this would have been a great advantage to the package.
