RedHead® Everest Hikers for Men
I am from Montana and this boot probably wouldn't last more than a day or two in the mountains. It looks good but is not built strong enough for hiking in rocks. I never went hiking in these and only used them walking the dogs. The "leather" uppers just started coming apart After a month, there is a two to three inch hole on the side of the left boot and the threading on both toes came apart. When walking over small rocks, it is felt on the bottom of the foot. This is a very light duty shoe so I don't recommend buying them to hit the trails especially in rocky terrain!

My husband wears these shoes religiously. He prefers these to much more expensive pairs that I have given him. He wears them to work (as a detective) and at home. I would recommend these shoes to everyone.

I found these a few years ago and I was so pleased with the first pair that after they started to wear out I ordered 4 more pair in 2008 and am still wearing the first of those. At this rate I won't get through the last pair for ten more years. But don't worry, I'll stock up again well before that happens. I'm also still wearing the original pair from 4 or 5 years ago, and although they're a bit ratty at this point they are great yardwork boots. Please don't stop making the Everest Hikers.

very comfortable shoes/boots
These boots are very comfortable. I wish they came in half sizes. I purchased size 13 because they didn't offer 12.5. The next time I go to a BPS store - I will try a 12 -as the 13 is a little larger than I need. Overall sizing seems to be right. I saw some other comments on-line prior to purchase- in regards to water resistance, so I decided I would spray waterproof the boots before first use - I have walked through snow and they have keep my feet dry and warm without a problem.
