Undeniable Quality
Thank you for allowing me to review this absolutely awesome product! I purchased this as a gift for my nephew who just came of legal hunting age (12 here in PA... where he, his father & myself took the PA Hunter Education Course - sponsored by BassPro themselves!) As soon as we graduated our class with top scores... we bought him his 1st hunting rifle and this scope in the 3-9 Matte and have since, been highly impressed with its performance and value at an incredible price!!! Can't go wrong for your new hunters! Low cost, incredible performance & best of all.... something that will stand up to the test of the most demanding hunters.... the young 'uns!!!!!

Epic 6.5-20 Redhead scope
I loved the optics. Very clear and lets in lots of light to bring out the dim objects. The longer scope also works well with long action rifles.

Epic 6.5-24 AO Scope
Great scope. Very bright and clear with no distortion. Finger 1/4 MOA ajustments were very easy to use, especially for someone like me with arthritis. I rate it 5 stars.

Without caps on the adjustments wouldn't your sights be thrown off if they were bumped? All the scopes I've owned had caps over the sight adjustments to prevent this from happening.Answers

This scope comes with caps to cover the adjustment knobsAnswers

i think so but might have to use med or high ringsA:Â
Absolutley. Just get the right rings and you'll have no problem. My panther is set up for coyote hunting and I have a much higher magnification scope, which is longer and a 30mm tube and it fits, so this scope, which is on my R700 7mm would fit just fine.Details:Â
What size Butler Creek flip-up covers would I need to get for this scope?Answers
A:Â
To find the correct cover you will need to measure the diameter of the objective lens and eyepiece, see photo for chart. Select the cover that is closest to the measurement with .01 under size and .025 over the size range. ThanksImages for this Answer

Depending on the throw on the bolt most rifle scopes will be suitable as long as you select a scope with the same tube diameter as your rings.Answers

if you are going to put this on that rifle you can do it but it will have to be drilled and tapped for the mount. there is a kit that comes with all the stuff you need to do this or a gunsmith will have to drill and tap for you. recommed you run ir by gunsmith anyway. some of those rifles are better than others. Just make sure you have a good shooter and better made rifle before you go to the trouble or expense of the project.A:Â
Our gunsmith suggests that you take your gun to a gunsmith regarding the appropriate mounts. Depending on the throw on the bolt most rifle scopes will be suitable as long as you select a scope with the same tube diameter as your rings.Answers

inside of 150 yards, not very well. I bought it for long range coyote hunting and it is good for that but I put my 3x9 back on last night for deer season so I could acquire a target easier.Answers

If you purchase the shotgun scope it will handle the recoil of your blackpowder gun.Top 1000 Contributor

It should handle any recoil you can! Bass Pro will usually replace anything with their name on it. Sounds recoil-proof to me :-)
