Used this blind 4 times in a one year span and all the couplings for the fiberglass rods are cracked (two are broken) two of the poles are cracked and when you do use it you are scared to use the cheap zippers for fear of breaking. Used to think RedHead was a good brand but will no longer make that mistake!!

I bought this blind after a lot of research. My 11 year old son is just starting to hunt with me and my goal is to keep him comfortable so he doesn't get discouraged, and disguise his natural restlessness from nature. This blind is very easy to set up and take down and does a great job at covering my son's young impatience. We have sat for hours in rain, snow and windy conditions and stayed dry and comfortable while seeing many deer. I highly recommend this for young hunters and fathers who want to spend quality time in the woods with their best little buddies. The time I get with him in the field is priceless!

Does anyone know where to get replacement poles for this or should i just take it back?
Answers
A:Â
Basspro-Redhead does not sell replacement poles. However, I had 4 poles snap in half from heavy snow accumulating on top of blind. I was able to repair the poles by placing the two pieces of each pole back together as close as possible. Then putting one layer only of gorilla tape on it to hold it together cleanly. Make sure it's same length as unbroken poles (40"). Then slide the pole back into the hub collar on the blind. Now slide a cut to length piece of 1/2" PVC tubing over the taped pole. Repeat for each broken pole. This worked for me and I spent less than $10 on supplies. Of course if Basspro would take it back that's a better option. FYI - for the 1/2" PVC tubing, I used a 10' role of the sprinkler irrigation line from Home Depot.A:Â

If i get one i plan on hunting Deer bow and gun season and most of all turkey! Is this the right Blind for me?Answers
A:Â
no floor..be fine for turkey and deer..just use a normal chair..turkey chair will be to low for most of the windowsA:Â
No. This blind does not include a floor.A:Â
nope no floorA:Â
For gun hunting it is great! Bow hunting you will have to be comfortable shooting sitting down.A:Â
No this blind does not have a floor in it. I feel that if it did have a floor it would leave to mush room for creating noise. I hunt turkey on public land and would recommend this blind. Its easy to set up and has plenty off room. The amount of ties it has for added brush is going to conceal you much more than necessary. No animal will ever know you are there.A:Â
no floor stay away from this blind the hubs crack and break easily1 of 1
