A: 
I used it underneath a cotton long sleeved hunting shirt on a hunt 2 weeks ago with the temperature in the low 40s, I was comfortable the entire hunt. Now, if it had gotten any colder than that or the sun wasn't shining I would have needed a jacket as well.
