good scent control
hunted archery in MD last weekend. Got my doe and was never scented. Good comfort in 90 degree heat.

Never wore anything but cotton underwear for more years that I will admit; but I tried out these and totally loved them. I forgot I was wearing them, which is the whole idea with underwear. They fit good and feel even better. No chaffing, binding, or sweating.
I will buy more!

Great gear item for more reasons than one!
This review isn't only directed towards these shorts, but to all of RedHead's enduraskin products. I own a full baselayer outfit in this enduraskin material. What a product. It wicks the sweat and moisture right off your body, and, if you're properly layering by having a mid weight layer on top of that, that layer will sop up all of the mouster the enduraskin wicks away from your skin, leaving not only your skin bone dry, but also your base layer enduraskin garmets! Now, as for what these shorts offer in and of themselves--I'm all about syntetic underwear for a ton of reasons, one being the fact that underwear (naturally) is the piece of clothing that gets dirty the quickest. On long trips, you can wear the same clothing over and over, but you typically do yourself good service by changing your drawers once a day. That being said, the beauty of these guys is the fact that you can go on week + long trips and only take a few pairs by virtue of the fact that you can stick these in a river, rub them down clean, ring them out, and the darn things are dry in no time! Great system. I love these things so much, I travel with them whenever I go on vacations where my space is limited (e.g., tropical islands, europe), as then I don't need a pair of drawers for everyday, I can simply clean these in the sink and not have to worry about days of drying time as you would with your normal cotton drawers. These things also keep your downstairs nether region quit comfy and dry. I've been expanding the use for these month by month, I now wear them working out, to the outdoor shooting range, or really any activity where I think I'm going to sweat! Downside, as compared to something like underarmor, is the quality isn't quite up there with UA (but the quality is acceptable, and I have field tested it and find it adequate for hunting and then some), but you make up for that in the significant reduction in price as compared to UA, which I find to be a perfectly acceptable trade off. The quality flaw (albeit minimal), in my opinion, exists in the light stitching, and this is why I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars. Good work RedHead, keep these coming!

I bought these as an alternative to the much pricier underarmour boxer briefs. I don't have anything to compare them to but thus far they are very comfortable. I have basically replaced all of my old cotton underwear with these. I don't think they do a real good job of keeping you dry or wicking sweat in excessive activity levels. However, they do dry fast. I think they are a tad long if you wear them with shorts as a replacemt of everyday underwear as about 1/2" of the bottom of them will show below just about every pair of shorts I own. Under jeans, no problems. Haven't worn them on a hunt yet but look forward to seeing how they do in preventing chaffing on extended mileage walks.
