RedHead® Dogwood Canyon® Rubber Lug Sole Wading Boots for Men
For less than $40 - you can't go wrong
Let's be real...these wading boots are $39, so you have to keep that in mind before you say they are junk or that they don't perform like a $150 pair of wading boots.
I have had these for a little over a year now and have probably done over 100 wades in them. Muddy creeks, rocky rivers, fast flows, slow flows, etc...You name it, I've hit it. I've even fished them in a half frozen river.
I have never had any real issue with traction in the water. Wade slowly and quietly, like your supposed to, and you will be just fine.
Traction out of the water is less than stellar and you need to be mindful of that.
Sizing is less than great, but if you tighten up the laces, you should be fine. That brings up my next point - have a couple of spare laces on you at all times. I have popped two sets of them in the last year.
They are reasonably comfortable and offer OK support. If you have strong ankles and are in relatively decent shape, you won't have a problem doing an all day wade with these.
Overall, these boots are great for the price. If you have never waded, they are a fantastic beginner boot without breaking the bank. If you only wade every now and then, same thing...great without breaking the bank. If you are an advanced wader, you may want to pony up a few extra bucks and not complain about these.

Redwood Dogwood Canyon Boots
My old Redwood Dogwood Canyon boots gave up their last hurrah while I was catching Rainbows on Spillway Creek in Southern Oklahoma. They'd served me well! From the wilds of Adirondack State Park in New York to Beaver's Bend State Park in Oklahoma. How could I possibly replace them with anything else.

The boots worked great. They run a little bit big for their size so do not order a larger size that your normal boot size. Very hard to beat for the price.

Not 2 bad
I use them in the Kren River in Ca.
and like them very much.
I have used more costly ones, there was not much difference .
