I purchased these chaps for upland bird hunting in Ohio. After only 1 time out found that they do not protect from prickers. After returning home and removing chaps, found that my legs had about 20-30 pricker scraps in them. I would not recommend these chaps.

I got a pair of these on sale and what a deal.
Mine also came with a lifetime warranty, but I don't think I'll ever need to use it.
If you ask me chaps are the ultimate outdoor "pant".
And the great thing about them is that you can wear them over anything in any weather. You just need a belt.

I agree with ruenzy from SD. I only wish I had read his assessment of this product before I ordered. Upon using the chaps the first time, a snap on a strap fell-off. The 600-denier polyester is far from tough. The threads of the polyester is loosely woven, causing the threads to pull out and the cuff is fraying after only one hunt.

I would never consider buying these chaps again. After wearing them for less than a month of pheasant hunting the bottoms are fraying out and one of the snaps has already fallen off. I dont believe our terrain in SD is anymore rugged than any other state. I have since gone back to my old chaps which have held up ten times better than the new ones. I would certainly consider a different brand. The only good thing about these chaps is their waterproof quality.
