RedHead Deluxe Layout Blind
I have had bad luck on two of these blinds now. The first one had a broken plastic piece on the frame. I returned it and got a new one. However, this second one also had a problem. The frame couldn't be attached together, because it was manufactured backwards in the factory. I would not recommend this blind to anyone.

Same day I bought it and prior to using in the field for the first time I assembled the blind inside and followed the instructions carefully, the blind went together easily and it appeared to be well made.
Problem was when I closed the doors for the first time – the fit around one door was too tight and the inner fabric ripped at the seam near the handle. I checked my assembly and it was exactly as instructed. The inner fabric on the door is quite thin and it appears they cut the fabric a bit too small so as you closed the door the fabric pulled too tight and ripped right at the seam.
After a 1.5 hour round trip back to BPS I exchanged for a new blind and assembled inside again to make sure. Like before I took my time and made sure I followed all instructions. And exactly like last time it ripped in the same place (opposite door this time). Same as before – fabric cut too small so as the door is pulled shut the load on the seam is too much and the inner fabric tore 6” along the seam.
I know people with earlier versions of this blind and they have nothing but good things to say about them, so I can only assume BPS changed who is manufacturing them or some other similar issue – in both cases it was clear there was manufacturing defect. I will be returning the 2nd blind and will look for a different blind.

All in all a great blind. i wish it had longer straps so that it could be folded up without having to break it completely down. this is something i might add to it, soon. well made and easy to use.

Quality at an Affordable price
First layout blind purchase for me. Blind seems well built, frame is sturdy and goes together well when following the directions. I did have to move one detent pin connector due to the angle, but that was it. Flagging ports are in a nice spot, other blinds I looked at weren't quite as ergonomic with their location.
Just have to mud it up and throw some brush on it and it'll be set for the season.
