RedHead Deer and Wild Game Blocks are very useful in the fall/winter season when food is in short supply. Optimum protein nutrition stimulates weight gain, improves reproduction, and is necessary for milk production in lactating does. Blocks are very palatable, readily consumed, and attract deer to the feeding area. Convenient to feed and transport to feeding sites; provides vitamins and minerals necessary to support growth, bone strength, and antler development. 25-lb. block.

This is an okay mineral lick. This was the first mineral lick that I had ever used. This product will work good with or without rain. I feel that if it rains, the deer will just bite chunks out of it. The minerals will soak into the ground when it rains and they will actually eat the dirt. It did not hold the deer like I would've liked it to. If I was you, i would try to find something better, but if you can't this will work.

I purchased this block because it was cheap! It does work, but you need something to attract the deer and hogs to the block. I used corn and the animals liked the block. When the corn was out the deer and hogs licked the block. It's good to keep hogs around when you run out of corn. It would work with with cmere deer block topper.

this product did work but not near as good as i expected it to. it did attract a few deer but nothin like the trophy rock i had less than 20feet away i checked them both 2 weeks after i put it out and this one was maybe 1/5 gone and the trophy rock was completly gone and they had kinda been attacking the ground. but only reason i would recommend it is because it would work fine for some one whoe wanted to use it to spot deer in there yards every once in a while. and for hunting if you are only wanting to attract does and dont mind sitting around for ever waiting. but if you want to bring deer to the area and keep them there use a trophy rock.

Unlike some other blocks I've used this holds up against rain well. The deer are attracted to it and it seems to do well for the cost.

I put a few of these out a while back and on the game camera there were more cows than deer eating it, but it just depends where you plan on putting it and how many deer you have coming1 of 1
