At first I thought these gloves were great. They fit well, look good, thin but warm allowing you to handle decoys, gun, boat with ease while staying warm. However, just like the other reviewers said they leak. I returned that pair and the next one leaked. Poor quality and durable. These gloves would be good for the woods, but not the water, especially duck hunting and handling wet decoys and cords.
Do not buy. Stay away from redhead products. Poor value, high mark-up, poor value.

Last year I received my first pair of Red Head gloves as a birthday present from my dad. I have used neoprene gloves for years and about halfway through the season, they would wear out. These gloves were light weight and thin, I didn't think that they would be waterproof or warm. They are all the above. I now use these gloves for setting decoys, ring them out and then hunt all day long with them before using them to pick up decoys at the end of the hunt. I liked them so much, I told my duck hunting buddy to pick up a pair at Bass Pro when we went through Missouri last spring on our way snow goose hunting. This year I purchased my father-in-law a pair for Christmas. Highly recommended!

ORIGINALLY REALLY LIKED, UNTIL PULLED DECOYS FROM WATER. ONE GLOVE WATER PROOF, THE OTHER LEAKS WATER AND MAKES HAND VERY COLD FROM WATER BEING IN CONTACT WITH HAND. AM GOING TO RETURN THEM TO STORE, MAYBE ONLY 1 GLOVE IS DEFECTIVE. GLOVES FIT WELL AND ARE LONG TO THE ELBOW, WHICH WOULD PROVIDE MAXIMUM PROTECTION.

The fit on the gloves are great! I can fire my gun with these gloves on. Not warm, but neoprene isnt supposed to be. I used the gloves 3 time before I wore a hole in the fore finger and it began to leak.

As we all know, neoprene decoy gloves eventually leak or otherwise get moisture in them and are very cold. I am intrigued by these gloves but I want to be sure they are 100% waterproof even though I rarely do have to submerge my hands into the water.Answers
A:
ONE GLOVE IS WATER "TIGHT" BUT THE OTHER LEAKS. WE ARE RETURNING THEM TO STORE, AS THE ONE MAY JUST BE DEFECTIVE. I HAVE HANDS IN WATER PULLING DECOYS, SO I NEED THE WATERPROOF-NESS.A:
I wore a hole in the fore finger of the gloves from wrapping decoy weights around keels after less than a season of hunting. they are waterproof out of the package, but are not warm at all. Try waterfowlers gloves, theyre much warmer than neoprene.A:
it has rained every time i used these and i pick up decoys with them and i stay dry unless theyre submerged multiple times and repeatedly, theyre a good dealQ:
