Purchased these boots about 12 months ago. Really liked them until this week when I noticed a crack in the rubber sole.

I bought a pair of the clogs to replace a pair just like them I bought a couple of years ago the I really liked and basically wore them down to a nub. They were great, The only thing I would have changed was adding a removable foot bed and to make the vulcanized rubber that runs around the bottom a different color like black or dark brown..
I recieved the new version a few days ago and now they have totally defeated the purpose of the shoe...which is shame because now the shoe has much better build quality than the older version but the new design has made them useless for what they were designed for in the first place. On the older version the heel came up higher in the back and the nice padded collar around the opening of the shoe fit snug enough to keep water or snow out but loose enough to still easily slip on.
The new version is cut like a summer shoe defeating the whole purpose. The heel is cut to low and your foot will get soaking wet..it also makes the opening of the shoe to big completely elliminating any advantage (a comfortable seal) the padded rubber collar used to provide. It's to bad because as I mentioned earlier the new version has much nicer build quality.
On a side note I had some questions about shipping and when I called Customer Service I got an actual human being...on the first ring! BRAVO Bass Pro Shop.

These clogs are great for knocking around or going to get the mail. If the weather is on the wet side and you need something to slip on these are great. For longer walks I would prefer something that gives more support and comes up a little higher.

I read other reviews before I ordered these shoes. Most said to order a size larger than you normally wear, I did this and the shoes were way to large, sent them back ordered my normal size and they are too small. My advice is to not buy these shoes.
