I purchased these for trout fishing in the Northeast. I would recemmend getting 1 size larger. They are very comfortable in the water and walking to the water. They kept me dry and they are very warm. The felt soles are fantastic and well worth it. I would recommend them.

Love these, the felt bottom makes it so easy to walk a river to fish. No slipping. For a woman these fit wonderful, no bagging and rubbing on the inside of the knees. Only down side is the crotch is a little too low.

These waders are comfortable, dependable.
I kept a star due to the fact that the sizing is odd.
i wear a 9 boot. the 9 boot waders would fit 2 or 3 of me in the chest. i had to buy an 8 to get a good chest fit. The 8 boot is just big enough to fit my size 9 foot.
they are not very potty-break friendly either. but what neoprene waders are?

The felt bottoms are great. The regular waders slip more on rocks and moss where the felt does not. It take a little longer to dry them out but above that love the felt bottom.A:Â
The felt soles keep you from slipping on rocks, they have saved me from sleeping with the fish many times :-). The regular waders with rubber soles are no different than going into the water with your boots. If you are staying on the banks you may not need the felt soles, but if you need to net your fish and venture into the water a bit, you will be glad you got them.
