We needed something to store our valuables and this fit the need. Electronic lock is easy to use, comes with bolts to lag into floor, paint finish is nice. April 20, 2013

No the 22" does not include the handle, you will need to add an additional 3" for the handle space. The key pad would not need any additional measurement other than the handle 3".

It falls under the lifetime warranty. I am very happy with the warranty. I will receive a free replacement safe if mine is damaged in a fire or burglary attempt. The lock is warranted for one year but an extension can be purchased; the safe is warranted for life.

No. They are not water proof. Most safes offer protection from fire(heat) and smoke, but not water.
