I like this little slate call. I am a peon beginner. I am unworthy. Using this call while watching the "pros" on Tv I can duplicate a lot of the same calls (not knowing what I am saying in "turkey."
I wish there had been a few more basic instructions with it. It told how to scrub the slate, and said to do something, I think round off the striker, but really didn't go into enough detail about that, so know I got to ask my cuz-in-law who is a world champion caller whom I can't hardly stand. I guess if I have to talk to him I might as well ask him what the difference in the ceramic, and other materilal slates is. But it is a nice call based on my humbled opinion.
