I like the looks and convienence of having pants you can convert into shorts. They do run slightly small.

These pants are great - length is perfect; I think the waist runs slightly big but that what belts are for.

in my search for good quality zip offs, I have never seen a true brown. Tan you will find quite often. Brown might be considered a fall-winter color and maybe that is why difficult to find in a zip-off. Sorry

I have found that most companies don't offer many color variations in cargo/hiking pants. Sad, but there it is. If enough of us ask for it, perhaps they will expand. I got the medium brown and like them very much. I see now they have a camo pattern too, which I guess could be considered a 4th color.

i bought size 38/30 and the shorts portion seems to be an 11" seam to me.A:Â
My inseam after multiple washings for a size 40w x 32L is about 8". Hope that helps.A:Â
My inseam on the shorts is approximately 7 inches
