RedHead Caliber Waterproof Hikers for Men
I had bought a different pair of RedHeads which I like very much. They are waterproof also. One of the eyelets came out but no problem. I am the manager for a lifeguard/beach service in South Carolina. To keep sand out of my shoes I wear hiking boots all summer. One pair I had came apart due to hot sand. The first pair of RedHeads did not. So I purchased these because they are a lighter color. WRONG. I get as much sand in them as I do with a pair of running shoes. Waterproof? Seems to me water would seep in way before sand would; and the sand is not even hot yet (May/June). I feel I wasted my money and am looking for smething else now.

Save your money
This has to be one of the worst purchases I have ever made. I should have read the reviews first. I was in the store and they were on sale for $29.99 so I purchases a pair. They didn't feel too bad in the store and thought they would break in. Well they didn't, in fact they got worse. No ankle support at all, very thin soles that let you feel every little thing you step on, and not waterproof at all, even the dew soaks through from wet grass. I gave up on them for hunting/hiking boots and was just going to keep them for yard work, but even after an hour of wearing them for that my arches, toes and ankles hurt. Do Not Buy These!!!

I have a job where I'm on my feet the entire shift. These shoes so far are fairly comfortable and skid proof. I often have to walk on wet surfaces, and haven't slipped yet. The only drawback is that the edges of the soles leave black marks on regular tile floors. The bottoms did at first, but once I wore them a few days that stopped. The edges, near the main upper of the shoe, will leave black marks on the floor if I happen to scoot my foot just the right way. They come right up, but I work in floor care, so that isn't a good thing! They are waterproof. I have spilled water, soda, cleaners from work (diluted in water for cleaning-not full strength), and accidentally spilled some raw chicken juice from some chicken I thawed out on a plate on them, and it never leaked through. With all that being spilled on my shoes, I have not cleaned the spills off the shoes (except for the chicken) and they so far have not stained. I would definitely recommend these shoes for anyone who works outdoors, or in any type of environment where non-skid, waterproof shoes are needed.

Not a good boot.
I thought I would buy a little less expensive boot since the main reason that I was buying these was to use while working outside and mowing the grass. Wish I would have saved my money and got a better boot. I guess you get what you pay for. The soles on these boots are very thin and offer almost zero support. They do not have very much ankle support and do not seem to be very waterproof as advertised. I have worn them several times thinking that I would get used to the way they feel. Every time that I put them on I end up taking them off and putting on a different pair of shoes. I would not buy another pair.
