Earlier posts said it was a two piece that needed locktite but this on doesn't come apart with a pliers. Has a righter pitch than the ones I've purchased at my hunt club and I prefer thisstyle.

I'm surprised by the other reviews, I have used this bell on my Search and Rescue K-9 for 2 years and haven't had any problems. I've lost many bells, and this one keeps on ringing!

I put the bell on him when outdoors to get both of us accustomed to the sound. The bell is threaded and came apart. Locktite seems to be the solution to the problem.

I put this bell on my Lab. at 9:00am for a day of Pheasant hunting. By 10:30 am it had already fallen apart. Enough said!
