RedHead Bow Case 2.0
pretty darn nice
This is a pretty darn nice case. pretty well made product. Lots of room for both bows and plenty of storage space for accessories. Long front pouch fits a Plano compact arrow case perfectly.
My only two gripes about it are that the velcro staps (if not using all of them for one bow) are pretty much worthless. They don't secure well enough to hold your bow(s) stationary for transport. If they doubled the number of straps this issue would be solved (8 would probably be the minimum number to do the job right) (5 provided) (I used some velcro pipe wrap material to make 4 more straps)
Secondly, adding a piece of padding for between the two bow compartments would be great for some added protection for your valuable bows. ( I made one using two interlocking child play mats which i then cut to fit the shape of the case) this, for me, solved that issue.
I was able, using my problem solving skills and a bit of
ingenuity, to remedy these issues, so i love the case now with the fairly easy modifications I've made.
I am also not thrilled at all that it cost an extra $18 for shipping on this item. That seems way too much (on top of the regular shipping cost) someone's definitely making some money on that one since there's no way it costs that much more to ship. ( I sell online and have a very good knowledge of shipping costs.)
I hope this review might help others if they feel the issues i had with the case, concur with theirs.

all but one thing
the case is great, love the design & the amount of pockets for storage is great! esp if I ever want to take my bow and go hunting alongside my husband. although it would've been nice if it came with a few more Velcro straps to hold an extra bow, but that's an easy fix. but even if I don't tag along, the extra space is great for extra clothes, snacks, etc. I love that it comes with a detachable strap. The only complaint I have is, the outer 2 main zippers are cheap, they're grey & plastic, unlike the rest that are black and sturdier. the plastic zipper makes it difficult to open/close the case. if the company had chosen a better quality zipper for the main openings this would be the perfect bag

I wanted a bowcase that wasn't going to cost $200, that had multiple pockets and was large enough to hold extras. It's decent and does what I need it to do for me.
The only reason it is not 5 star is that it is to floppy - would be perfect with a plastic insert between the two sides

The bag has plenty of space for various items needed for hunting. However, the velcro straps don't offer much support for securing the bow, and the bag seems much larger than the bow. Maybe that's because I have a womens bow, but it still seems large. With that being said, the bag is of great quality and I wouldn't purchase any other kind now. The bag has space for 2 bows also which is good if you bring someone along. I would recommend this case because it isn't bulky.
