Rated 5 out of 5Â by jim88 DOES THE JOB
I got this to keep me dry while repairing my dock from ice damage. Some reviews were questionable but I bought anyway. I put them on and went into the cold water and was pleasantly surprised ,didn't get cold or wet. I was in the water for about 1hour got my work done put them away to use next year. Glad I purchased them great price good value very happy

Rated 1 out of 5Â by jmoose Worse waders ever!!!
My buddy and i both bought ourselves a pair and within a just using it two times we both had leaks and the buttons that hold the straps came out so they are completely useless.

The first time I wore them the suspender post pulled right out of these waders. It cost me another $10 to return them to "BPS".
I am a sucker, as I asked "BPS" to replace them and I'll try it one more time. I only wish that they would have paid for the return shipping as well.

I bought two pairs of these waders for putting in my lake dock early in the season and they both failed the first time they were worn. Decent quality, poor design. The suspenders are not elastic! Tighten them up and they break off the attachment points when you bend over. Leave them loose and the straps fall off your shoulders. Typical, finished the job in the deepest water with my pants falling down.

I am 5'10 ½“ at 196lbs and am not familiar with the size equivalency to a 36/30 pant size.Answers
A:Â
I am 5' 9" and weight is about 175. I ware a 36/30 pant. My shoe size is 9 1/2. I ordered a size 10 and use with a heavy sock. I probably shoud have ordered a 9 1/2 but the 10 works fine. I think they probably go more by shoe size than they do pant size when making the Waders. You should be OK with the length and waist. They: however, is plenty of room for me to carry a pistol in them.Q:Â

The Redhead waders are heavier, I think you would be more comfortable with a thinsulate type one.2 years, 11 months ago

They are bulky and seem heavy to me a little bit, but you definitely won't have any problem with the water getting inside of them. I would get them if you want a cheap pair cost wise. The waders in the stores can get up to $140!A:Â
They are a bit on the heavy side as for the exact weight I could not say for sure. I used my shoe size to determine the boot size of the wader,it was a pretty good fit.3 years, 1 month ago
