Rated 5 out of 5Â by TexasTaterTot Best grip on concrete, bar none!
I have not experienced better traction from ANY other boot on smooth concrete/painted concrete floors, wet or dry. In a correctional setting this is BIG re safety! Great box toe for protection for agencies that deny officers the use of steel/carbon toe'd safety boots. And super comfy insoles and soft outsoles makes them a joy get through a long shift with. Instep/ankle protection is top notch. Inmates stomping and sticking at your feet don't get far against these here boots! A correctional officers dream boot! Unfortunately the boots greatest strength is also its greatest weakness..that soft/squishy/grippy outsole also wears faster than the harder types (just like with car tires). I get two years out of a pair using them for work AND for ridin' my Hog around the Texas Hill Country which puts them to the test. I'm just now ordering my THIRD pair for my next two year stint of happy feet : ) ...for a boot in this price range nothing else can beat it! You'd have to spend 2 to 3 times the price to even get close with another brand/model. Bass Pro hit it out of the park with this one here folks!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by TableRockKid Great work boots
I've worn these nightly for nearly three months, five 8 hour shifts per week. The 'break in' required was minimal. They are comfortable, the soles provide good traction, and they provide plenty of support for the ankle areas. I will definitely purchase another pair when I need more boots. The side zipper feature makes removing the boots very simple. These boots as ar good as any pair of the 'big name bands' I have ever owned, and I've been through several pairs of boots over a 20 year career. These wear well, protect the ankle area and a plenty flexible and comfortable enough for a 'foot chase' - in fact they are better than some low cut, tennis shoe types I have worn. Anyone needing a good pair of duty boots will do well to invest in a pair of these.

I'm still in the break in period. But one thing I would change is the insoles. The boots aren't cheap, but the insoles are. I replaced the ones that came in the boots with ones from a different pair of boots.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by RickErx These wear like iron
I purchased my first pair over a year ago and wear them almost constantly. After a year, the soles are starting to wear thin on their heels and I’ve scrapped up the toes. Overall they have worn like iron and are still serviceable. As a work boot they are light, comfortable and are easy to take off and on. I’ve used them for hunting, fishing, normal daily wear and on the motorcycle without fault. As far as waterproof goes, I’ve haven’t tried to submerge them but they’ve kept my feet dry while riding in the rain. I will purchase a second pair later this week.
