RedHead® Bone-Dry Classic Series Neoprene Stocking-Foot Waders for Youth
Not Perfect - But OK
Average size 11 year old boy will need the XL size. Mine wears shorts only underneath and stays warm enough in February, but they do leak just a little in the toe. With plastic bags, his feet do stay bone dry - so the leaking is just a little seepage through the seams.
The pocket is large enoough for a small tackle case and some hand warmers. Comes with suspenders and a belt + gravel guards. The 3.5mm neoprene seem durable enough that I don't have to worry about him kneeling in the sand or wearing them while hiking through the woods to the water. Overall a decent value for the price. I'm sure he'll out grow them before wearing them out. It's too bad that an adult extra small is so much bigger than these.

Great product for price
Unless they have changed these, i bought a pair and used them for 8 years with moderate use before they started to leak. At one point I left them in the back of my truck in the sun for 2 weeks, they faded in one big spot, but did not leak untill 2 years after that. Hope this helps...

Great help with purchase
My husband is not a 'fishing enthusiast". My grandson Tyler is 9 and my daughter said he needed waders but they might be hard to find. I found Bass Pro Shops through a Google search and the rep was extremely helpful giving me all of the various measurements for the youth sizes so I could pick the right one. I had them shipped to Tyler for his birthday and he wore them that weekend and was thrilled. Very good company to deal with!
