I've worn these boot for about a year and a half. The keep your feet safe and some what dry. I disturb a lot of snakes in my summer activities and its nice to feel a little safer. My feet will get a little damp if in water 6" or more for extended time, but not soaked.

After growing up in Florida, the land of swamps and snakes, and having to endure the agony of plastic snake chaps and old-fashioned snake boots which gave me heel blisters every time I wore them, I decided on a change. I did a little research and finally decided on these boots. I cannot begin to describe the degree of comfort and over-all satisfaction I have experianced with these boots. They fit better than most of my shoes and slogging through the swamp with wet feet is a thing of the past. And for the price, to me it was a bargain better than I ever expected. And yeah, while wearing them one day, on an ordinary hike because they are so comfortable, I stepped right on a cotton mouth and only noticed it because it was chewing on my boot. And thanks to these boots, I apologized to the snake and went on my merry way.

Very comfortable boot, but gortex liner did not last one season ( in both boots), and since they are now over a year old and Redhead brand, cant return to Bass Pro!!!

As a lady who hunts, I have tried lots of boots. I had back surgery in December last year ( 06) and I can't be bending over all the time tieing my boots. I am also very cold natured and if my feet get cold and wet then I stay cold and I might as well go home. But before turkey season last year, my husband bought me a pair of these boots and I love them. We plan on buying all the kids in our house a pair for Christmas. My sister in law even bought herself and her husband a pair. Great boots.
