I bought the boots when I moved onto a rattlesnake riddled mountain and started wearing them everyday for outdoor landscaping. After a month, I bought the same for my husband, and my neighbors but two pairs as well. The review is based on our combined experience for 4 sets of these boots.
Pros: appear sturdy and are waterproof as long as they are not coming apart
CONS:
Painful to wear in - took about 2 weeks of bruised ankles to be comfortable
zippers broke on all 4 sets after 3-5 months
zipper is extremely tough to move causing calluses on fingers with daily use; needed to shift to using pliers to open and close after a few months
Waterproof / snake proof: NOT after about 3-5 months: ALL 4 SETS started coming apart in the seams, which renders the boot not even dirt proof since the seams are gaping open;
A real disappointment; maybe good for people who are not dependent on frequent use

These boots have been my constant companion over the last 5 years of deer/turkey seasons. Unfortunately I have to trash them because the rubber soles and foam heel material are coming off in chunks rendering the boots useless. The rest of the boot is fine. I also had this experience with RedHead felt wading boots. After only 5 yrs of moderate use, soles coming off a shoe is unacceptable. BassPro needs to step up their game.

great boot as I've had several pairs, my kids have them, so it only made sense to buy them for the wife. Great boot when on sale, not worth $150 due to the rubber on the bottoms is melted on in a thin layer & after a few years starts to break apart thus allowing moisture to get into the sole. Quick & easy to put on, nice comfort, but be warned if you dip em (ie water gets into them when you step into a hole) they'll never be waterproof again no matter what you coat them in....unless it's a plastic bag of course.

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned. This is my second pair. The first pair lasted 7+ years. I still wear them but they are cracking at the bend in the toes, so they aren't waterproof. I don't live in an area where snakes are a concern, so I haven't used that feature. I do live in an area with cold winters. I just put on good warm socks and I'm good to go. Once your walking you stay warm. Probably not ideal for long periods of sitting still in the cold, but I didn't want them for that purpose.
