We’ve gathered the most impressive advancements of modern compound bow engineering and combined them in the BlackOut— a bow that quietly delivers bone-melting speed and ultra-smooth performance! The Throttle Cam Tech is the fastest and the most efficient single cam on the market, sending arrows screaming into your target at up to 333 fps with a whole new level of accuracy. Parallel limbs store huge power reserves, and the whisper-quiet shot will surprise your quarry in a very deadly way. And with a 7" brace height and 32" axle-to-axle length, its peerless design and perfect balance make this bow a pure joy to shoot. Color: Realtree AP™. Weight: 3.8 lbs.
Package includes 3-pin sight, Hostage™ arrow rest, one-piece 5-arrow quiver, 5" stabilizer, installed string suppressor, and installed peep sight and sling
Throttle Cam Tech
The fastest single cam on the market! This cam has been stripped down and rebuilt from scratch, machining it to the tightest tolerances possible for unmatched efficiency so all potential power stored in the limbs is transferred to the arrow with minimal energy drop.
Rotating Draw Length Modules
Adjusting the draw length between 26.5" and 30.5" (in 1/2" increments) is as simple as removing the module screws, rotating the module, and retightening it. No bow-press required!
Limb-Mounted Bearing Assembly
Most manufacturers integrate the bearing into the cam itself, which can lead to inefficient power transfer and imbalanced rotation. We’ve placed the bearing assembly on the limb tips instead, allowing near-perfect efficiency and unencumbered, true centered alignment.
Highest-Tolerance Fully Machined Riser
The 6061 T6 aluminum riser is precisely CNC machined to eliminate unnecessary weight and maximize strength. It’s long enough to add precious forgiveness to each shot, yet short enough to maneuver deftly in ground blinds or tight treestands.

I am happy with the bow. The only problem I have with it is that the string easily comes off the upper cam. I had just taken the bow out of the box and was pulling it back and it came off. I took it to bass pro to fix it and the guy told me it was pretty common. The upper cam has a very small lip on it and has over half the string exposed. Not sure why they made it like that but other than that the bow is great. It shoot nice and smoth and quiet.

I am new to bow hunting, but I love the new Blackout. Its a quiet bow with plenty of speed and power. I have added 2 pins to the site and taken the light off of the site. The light will be a nice addition for night hunting but during the day the light can be an additional source of noise while firing the bow. I am still not sure whether I like the hostage rest due to slight movement of plastic parts but it works well so far. I hunt with a friend who has been hunting with Mathew's bows for years and he made the comment that my bow was easier to shoot and would make him a deadly shot in the field. Great bow keep up the good work.

I hadn't shot a bow for about 8 years, and even then, I had been confident with shots 30 yards and closer. I had Mathews and Parker bows before. After a unique hunting opportunity was presented, I went up to the Bass Pro here in Springfield and did some shopping. After considering, I picked the Blackout, had it set up and tuned at the store. I shot it at the store and was amazed with its quickness, balance and silence. This was Tuesday. I shot for about an hour on wednesday to get my 30 and 40 pins dialed in. Friday night, I shot a big 6 x 5 elk straight through the heart. The confidence I had gained with perfect practice of such an easy shooting weapon was surely a factor. After 8 years, this bow has me anxious to hunt as often as I possibly can. The confidence I have with shots 60+ yards now is borderline obnoxious (in a good way!!)
