We’ve gathered the most impressive advancements of modern compound bow engineering and combined them in the BlackOut— a bow that quietly delivers bone-melting speed and ultra-smooth performance! The Throttle Cam Tech is the fastest and the most efficient single cam on the market, sending arrows screaming into your target at up to 333 fps with a whole new level of accuracy. Parallel limbs store huge power reserves, and the whisper-quiet shot will surprise your quarry in a very deadly way. And with a 7" brace height and 32" axle-to-axle length, its peerless design and perfect balance make this bow a pure joy to shoot. Color: Realtree AP™. Weight: 3.8 lbs.
Package includes 3-pin sight, Hostage™ arrow rest, one-piece 5-arrow quiver, 5" stabilizer, installed string suppressor, and installed peep sight and sling
Throttle Cam Tech
The fastest single cam on the market! This cam has been stripped down and rebuilt from scratch, machining it to the tightest tolerances possible for unmatched efficiency so all potential power stored in the limbs is transferred to the arrow with minimal energy drop.
Rotating Draw Length Modules
Adjusting the draw length between 26.5" and 30.5" (in 1/2" increments) is as simple as removing the module screws, rotating the module, and retightening it. No bow-press required!
Limb-Mounted Bearing Assembly
Most manufacturers integrate the bearing into the cam itself, which can lead to inefficient power transfer and imbalanced rotation. We’ve placed the bearing assembly on the limb tips instead, allowing near-perfect efficiency and unencumbered, true centered alignment.
Highest-Tolerance Fully Machined Riser
The 6061 T6 aluminum riser is precisely CNC machined to eliminate unnecessary weight and maximize strength. It’s long enough to add precious forgiveness to each shot, yet short enough to maneuver deftly in ground blinds or tight treestands.

I bought this bow after multiple days of reading reviews and trying it for myself. When l first picked up this bow, it just felt good in my hand. Balanced and light weight. After sending a dozen arrows down range, from this and other bows I decided on the Blackout. I could not be happier with the purchase. The bow is very quiet and accurate. The only downside is the arrow rest. The brushes wear out fairly quickly. But above all I would recommend this bow.

I just bought the Redhead Blackout at BPS at Opry Mills in Nashville Tennessee. The service their is great by the way. This bow shoots smooth and accurate.I had it grouping nicely at 25 yards in 10 shots. I went and shot all the big names and chose this bow. I had set aside $1500 for a new bow and this shot as well than all but a couple I shot. I couldnt justify blowing an extra $700 dollars for a name. The only thing cheesy on the outfit is the rest. Its aint a whisker biscuit lol!. Its an Octane hostage and I aint impressed with it.. It wore out the first 2 days with about 200 arrows thru it. I bought an NAP Apache for it but the rest of the package is nice. A 5 pin TRU GLO with light and an Octane stabilizer and a decent quiver. Its made by Diamond and its basically a Fugitive with a 7" brace height. Its very forgiving and plenty fast. It welds arrows into my Block target at 62 lbs on 25 yard shots. If you want a super nice hunting rig and dont wanna break the bank go for this bow. Replace the rest with a drop away or a whisker biscuit and put some meat in the freezer..I took the rest of my budget and bought a Barnett Ghost 350 crossbow but thats another story..

I picked this bow up from BPS in Portage, IN. Shannon was awesome and stayed after his shift to make sure I was ready to go. I have this bow set at 70 lbs with a 28.5 in draw. Even at max weight its smooth and easy to draw. My bow came with a five pin lighted sight, and even has no tools needed micro adjustment. It only took me three shots to be sighted in at 20 yds. It is extremely quiet and has very little vibration. I' ve been shooting this bow for about a month now and 2 in groups are no big deal, their usually stacked right on top of eachother even up to 50 yards. I'll have this bow for a long time and would and have recommended it to everyone I talk to. Great job BPS keep up the good work.

Rated 4 out of 5 by HuntEverything89 Very Solid Bow
I've used this bow for a year now. Couldn't be anymore happy with the bow itself. After some tuning, the bow is not only fast but its quiet too, and very accurate. The draw is smooth, no hitches like in some bows.
Some things I didn't like about the entire package was the rest, sight and quiver. The octane rest is garbage. I shoot pretty frequently (approx. 2-3 times a week), the brushes on the rest wear out extremely fast. The first brushes didn't even last me 3 weeks. Upgrade to a better rest fixes that problem. The sight is good, but it could use more pins. And the quiver creates a decent amount of rattle when the bow shoots. Take off the quiver and the bow instantly gets a lot quieter. If you upgrade those three things, the bow is perfect.
Hands down, you can't beat the price for the value you're getting. I would recommend this bow to anyone, first time hunters as well as seasoned hunters.
