RedHead® Big Timber 8'' Insulated Waterproof Hunting Boots for Men
Worn them out bowhunting 3 times so far. Very comfortable and good ankle support. Broke in real quick. Waiting for some rain so I can see how waterproof they are.

Solid boots saved me a major injury
I bought these and broke them in as you should any set of boots, by wearing them periodically around the house for a few hours until they were settled in. Since then, I've put about 10-15 miles of hiking on them...not enough to write a review for me normally. However, opening day of fall turkey sold me on these.
While hiking out to sit by a roost a couple hours before sunrise, I overestimated my abilities a bit and took a hard 6-foot fall off of a river embankment while trying to find a manageable way down. I got up, dusted myself off and walked away OK, found my spot and set up. As the morning progressed, I did 4 more miles of hiking in the Ozarks before heading back because I noticed a small amount of pain in my right ankle. After getting home and taking the boot off, the pain hit immediately. I had grade 2 ankle sprain...over the course of the next few hours it bruised like mad and swelled up big-time.
For me to be able to hike 4 more miles, build several blinds and hunt for 6 more hours, noticing only minor pain with this sprain, the ankle support in these is excellent. I don't want to think what kind of injury I'd have if I had my old boots on...I'd be laying next to a river with a broken ankle and no cell signal.
For the price, these are a no-brainer. Just break them in right.

good purchase for money
These boots work best for early hunting like early fall deer or spring, fall turkey. They aren't very good when it comes to cold hunting. Even with wool socks they get to cold to fast.only draw back other than that great buy.

Cheap, but effective
I got these boots for a birthday present last October. I have not had any issues with fitment, eyelits or waterproofing. If you break boots in properly, you won't get blisters (goes for any boots). I've worn these on multiple deer hunts with no issues, and I've trekked the Oregon Mountains this past week with no issues, my feet are comfortable, dry and warm. I would recommend these boots to any one.
