I lost my guthook knife so I decided to buy this set,which not only is a great value for the money,but also well made,strong and keeps a durable sharp edge.Is light enough to be carried around all day,cleans easily and the cleaver cuts nicely at the joints and other bony parts,Iwas able to dress and portion my game fast and with no trouble at all.

I got this knife set for my boyfriend for Christmas. He was VERY satisfied with it. The knifes are extremely sharp and the handles dont feel like a cheap rubber material either. It was a great purchase and we cant wait to use them again!

I bought this set in the event I would get my first deer. Lucky for me I did and I was able to field dress and quarter up my buck with no problem. I took a chance by not sharping the knives. To my surprise, they worked great right out of the box.

I've been hunting for 25 years and have gone through a pile of knives. For $30 you are not going to find a better set of knives. They hold an edge forever and the sheath is as tough as nails. We used them on three deer before touching up the edges. A super product.

The Buck 102 is probably too small for hog hunting. I used one for rabbit, squirrel and pheasant. However, the Buck 119 should do nicely for hogs.
