Little big for south Ga. hunting, but I think will work ok for out west as a day pack. The pockets inside the bag are really small. For example a limb saw and grunt tube are too long to fit. The included bladder will be nice for hunting in the mountains.

I'm 5'8" and the pack fit perfectly. Seems like there was plenty more adjustment left for a taller person. Loved all the pockets. Very well made. Worked great for me on my elk hunt.

I used the pack this rifle season in VT. It has many pockets and is very nice for carrying extra gear into the woods. Only problem was that one of the chest straps/buckles disconnected from the shoulder strap, and I does not look like I could get it re-attached. Otherwise I'd highly recommend this pack. My first time having a pack with a hydration bladder in it, and it was handy when I was over-dressed hiking around in warmer than expected weather.
