For years, I only purchased the brand with a mountain for a logo. Three bad pairs of boots later...I needed a good pair of boots but did not want to spend 180+ on another pair of boots that were uncomfortable and leaked. I saw the price on these and gave them a shot. I have about 100 hours of wear on them between Kentucky and Indiana's 2013 turkey season. I have walked through a bunch of early morning dew soaked grasses and about 6" of water in creeks with no leaks so far. They seem to be well made and are comfortable for hours of walking. The sizes seem to run small though. I wear size 11 in just about every other shoe and boot and had to get a 12 in these (11 1/2 was not available) . They fit fine with a quality sock....but would be a little loose with a really lightweight pair. Break in period was unnoticeable...they were comfortable right away. This is a very good boot for the price, but be careful on size selection.

Bought the boots on sale and headed to the turkey woods. After a couple of hours I noticed tha tht they had a leak. So bake to BPS I go where they gladly exchanged them. Same story with them as well. Leaked... On a positive note they were comfortable.

Easy on and off with the zipper. Waterproof feet stay dry. I would suggest them glad I bought them for this turkey season.

I suggest you try these boots on at a BPS store as they are really tight in your normal size and once on you will need help getting them off. Also don't try on with thin socks. I had to go up 2 sizes for a comfortable fit. They are a great camo design that covers the boots and blends well in the turkey woods. I would expect them to last if taken care of and sized correctly for your feet.

I have never had wet feet with these boots, so I've never had a leak.A:Â
I can only speak for myself and the answer is no to bitten, no leaking unless you stand in water for along time.A:Â
Yes I wear these boots while working (surveying) and I've been hit twice and they really do work and they are waterproof, which is more than I can say for a pair of Rocky snake boots I had...leaked the first day they went in the water. Great fit, very light and comfortable. I included a pic of one of the cottonmouths that hit me...he got his fang stuck but never got close! Had to remove him myself before I dispatched him.Images for this Answer
