I've used these boots for about 2 years now and the only thing I didnt like was they lost their waterproof after the first year. Durring the first year I used them to coon hunt and stood in water almost to the top of the boot and they didn't leak a drop. Other than that they have been the most comfortable boots I have owned.

The Boots were the smallest size 14 wide I ever put on. The photo appeared to zip all of the way down the front. I normally wear a size 12 and thought I was buying an easy on and off boot. Once on they were comfortable and I walked a short distance in them. I tried to take them off and three hours later I finally managed to remove them without cutting them off. I really hope they were missmarked in size. They have been sitting in my bedroom to remind me to be careful what I put on my feet.

I have never had wet feet with these boots, so I've never had a leak.A:Â
I can only speak for myself and the answer is no to bitten, no leaking unless you stand in water for along time.A:Â
Yes I wear these boots while working (surveying) and I've been hit twice and they really do work and they are waterproof, which is more than I can say for a pair of Rocky snake boots I had...leaked the first day they went in the water. Great fit, very light and comfortable. I included a pic of one of the cottonmouths that hit me...he got his fang stuck but never got close! Had to remove him myself before I dispatched him.Images for this Answer
