This kit is decent overall with one exception: The flimsy little metal straps to hold the skull plate in place are terrible. They are not long enough to hold the average-sized trimmed skull. And the metal is so brittle that once the straps are bent to shape they tend to break. I bought for a couple bucks some string & flexible "plumbers tape" , that comes in either metal or plastic, and that does a much better job.

I have used this product for many years and have found it to be the best do it your self kit on the market. Fit and finish is very good.

Rated 4 out of 5 Very good kit
This kit works real well. You have to trim the antlers just right but with a little thinking it works good. I have done two already and I will buy more in the future.

I was very disappointed in this product. The instructions were not very helpful and the overall quality was very poor. It was not worth the price! I don;t think it would fit any racked buck !

The antlers would have to be connected under the skull cover some how. The cover is just a cover, all that holds it on is 2 tacks. Its not structural support for the antlers. The antlers have to be attached to the board in some way. If you can attach them to a board then you could put them on the mount and use the cove.1 of 1
