I have purchased 5 of these jackets over the past 12 years. I wear them most fall and spring. Living 6 miles from the Canadian border it is tested. I think the price is getting too high so this will proably be the last one purchased

I'll try to make this short. I originally was directed to the Bass Pro website based on reviews for a BBQ grill cover. I placed the grill cover into my cart and then decided to view some of the apparel. I stumbled upon a jacket that looked almost identical to a jacket that I acquired from my father. As a 15+ year jacket....it's still functional...but has seen better days. I refuse to trash it because my father has since passed and it reminds me so much of him (sorry for the mushy moment).
At any rate, I chose the size and color of my choice and placed the jacket it into my cart. To my surprise the new jacket that arrived was visibly identical to the 15+ year jacket. The new jacket had an extra inside pocket for cell phone storage but other than that....they were exactly the same.
I usually do not write reviews on products....but I definitely wanted to show my appreciation and gratitude to Bass Pro Shops.

With the warmer weather, I haven't done more than just try it on, but at 6'1" and 270 with long arms, I ordered a 2XLT (same as my shirt size) and it fits fine, even slightly roomy. The cell phone pocket holds my 2"x4" flip phone but probably nothing much larger.

I am 6'3" 340 lbs and bought the 4XL. It is plenty long and covers the lower back well. If anything, for me, it may be a bit too big. I could have easily gone with the 3XL with no problem.A:Â

I am 6'2" and I used to weigh 275.. I was wearing this jacket size 2xL and it fit just fine. I don't ever remember having a problem with covering my lower back. I recently went on a diet and now weight 230 and I ordered a new one size XLT. I am thinking that I should have order the LT... plenty of room. the "T" size, I believe is for "Tall" so the sleeves are longer.. I love this jacket...A:Â
I'm 6', 260 lbs, and I have the 2XL, it fits me fine except it's a little short. The next one I get I"m going to order the 2XL tall. What ever size you need, I'd order the tall.Answers

No. I solved that problem with spraying the hood and collar area with water repellant. Worked like a charm. Very happy with the jacket. Keeps me warm and dry.Top 1000 Contributor

No , I don't think so. I think that part is like any other sweatshirt. It will absorb water after a while.Top 50 Contributor

It seems fine for Colorado mornings between 10Ëš-15Ëš with a T-shirt under it.A:Â
I have been comfortable in it from the upper 30's to the mid 50's. But this year I decided to try layering and I used a carhart insulated zip sweatshirt underneath. I had all the warmth I needed all the way to zero. but the big benefit was that I had a lot more movement that is normally restricting with heavy jackets. And I saved a lot of $$$ by layeringA:Â
