Rated 5 out of 5 by Love This Product I have recently bought this product for my dad so he can go hunting with me this year and he love this belt. i have bought one similar to this one for myself a while back and but from a different store and thought this one is a little pricy compare to the one i bought but i couldn't find these product anywhere else so i went for it. After i purchase it and used it, it's worth it. it's alot better than the one i bought before. the material is alot better and the design of it makes it alot easier to take out and put in the shot shells. Also it holds the shells really tight in place even when i chase after my game all the shell stay in place. i'm thinking about getting one for my self to replace my old one and i would recommend this product to everyone out there with a shot gun too. Rated 5 out of 5 by perfect fit with many options I bought two of these originally for my .308, but now I am going to buy a few more. They are simple and to the point. They accomidate my .308, .410, and .44 mag shells. The shells fit snug and the belts will accomidate any shell in that size range. There is also a blank area i liked that allowed me to fix my skinning knife to the belt. Thanks, they worked nice for me. September 1, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top notch equiptment The ammo belt is exactly what I expected. Well made and I will be buying another in the near future. I would reccomend this product to all my friends and people looking for a easy way to carry accessible ammo in the feild or at home for self defense. April 6, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Multi-tasking cartridge belt I purchased this item with the intention of custom fitting the loops to another belt nylon webbed belt. After trying this beltt out I discovered the "un-advertised" features of this product. Given that the loops are elastic My 44 mag cartrtriges as well as my rifle cartriges fit equally well. Since I carry the side arm with my rifle, the belt "multi-tasks". Next, the belt measuers 48 to 50 inches long. I was tempted to cut off the excess but did not. That excess allows me to use this belt in the summertine without a jacket and in the winter with my cold weather gear. That excess in now equipped with metal snaps that allow me to secure the excess lengths in the correct fit positions for both summer and winter use. The double web thicknss on the left side carries my cross-draw holster with 44 mag revolver very well. Here is another important feature and benefit : The 20 elastic cartridge loops are positioned on the users right side ( and not on the back side ) of the belt thus making for quick and easy cartridge access. If you want to spend alot more money and get one of thoes expensive leather c'belts go ahead but you will miss the versatility that this belt offers . Granted this belt is utilitarin and does not match my leather holster but I dont care about looks out in the Big Horne Mountains. This is one of the better "value selections" that I've madei in a long time and recommend this item for anyone looking for an inexpensive "multi tasking" cartridge belt December 28, 2008

A:
Yes, but like in my review, you will have to put two (2) rounds in each loop, as with only one (1) round in a loop, the round might slip out when walking.

I bought the belt specifically for my Judge. It works great for the .410 shell. The .45 colt isn't as long as the cartridge loop, but fits.

45 Long and 410 shells will work in the rifle version and you can also put a holster on it. I don't think you can get better than that.

I'm pretty sure it will only hold larger caliber rifle rounds and shotgun shells, which there are two different belts for rifles and shotguns.

The belt is around 2.5" wide, if that.

A:
Yes, the belt for shotshell holds both 20 and 12 gauge shotshell perfectly. With the quality material that it's made from it will only stretch to the size of the shells and hold it tightly, i'm using it with 20 gauge shotshells now and it's great.

I tried 20-gauge shells in the shotgun model and they fit nicely. Plenty snug enough to not worry about them falling out.

I have not tried to put 20 gauge shells in it yet but, you should have no problem.
Buy the way if you cut of the buckle you can attach this to sling swivels and use it as a sling.
