I purchased this item with the intention of custom fitting the loops to another belt nylon webbed belt. After trying this beltt out I discovered the "un-advertised" features of this product. Given that the loops are elastic My 44 mag cartrtriges as well as my rifle cartriges fit equally well. Since I carry the side arm with my rifle, the belt "multi-tasks". Next, the belt measuers 48 to 50 inches long. I was tempted to cut off the excess but did not. That excess allows me to use this belt in the summertine without a jacket and in the winter with my cold weather gear. That excess in now equipped with metal snaps that allow me to secure the excess lengths in the correct fit positions for both summer and winter use. The double web thicknss on the left side carries my cross-draw holster with 44 mag revolver very well. Here is another important feature and benefit : The 20 elastic cartridge loops are positioned on the users right side ( and not on the back side ) of the belt thus making for quick and easy cartridge access. If you want to spend alot more money and get one of thoes expensive leather c'belts go ahead but you will miss the versatility that this belt offers . Granted this belt is utilitarin and does not match my leather holster but I dont care about looks out in the Big Horne Mountains.
This is one of the better "value selections" that I've madei in a long time and recommend this item for anyone looking for an inexpensive "multi tasking" cartridge belt

This belt holds my 12 guage ammo secure and is comfortable to wear. It is quality made and reasonably priced. I use it for my live ammo while dove hunting and that leaves my vest pocket where I used to keep my live ammo available for spent shells to keep the hunting areas free of unwanted debris.

im a upland game hunter quail, dove, chucker, and I did not like using in the feild but for the range its perfect.

I have a single shot H&R topper in 12gauge and spartan spr 100 in 410 gauge I use the rifle belt for the 410; the ammo fits a little more secure-but of course the shotgun belt for my 12 ,seeing as how both my guns are single shots it helps to have the ammo handy when shootin' clays (good stuff).

Yes, the belt for shotshell holds both 20 and 12 gauge shotshell perfectly. With the quality material that it's made from it will only stretch to the size of the shells and hold it tightly, i'm using it with 20 gauge shotshells now and it's great.A:Â
I tried 20-gauge shells in the shotgun model and they fit nicely. Plenty snug enough to not worry about them falling out.1 of 1
