This review applies to the 2-pistol case. I previously purchased the larger 4-pistol case and it works wonderfully. I would give it 5 stars.
Upon receipt of the smaller 2-pistol case, I was very disappointed. The cases are constructed identically so I initially had high hopes. Those were quickly beginning to diminish when I realized the handle did not have enough distance between the grip and the latch. When the handle is unfolded for carrying, it rubs against the latch as it swings out and causes the latch to open. A major inconvenience but I began to think about shaving part of the grip down so it wouldn’t unlatch the case every time I grabbed it or some other “fix”.
I then loaded the case with one pistol and a box of ammo and was going to head to the range. It was then I realized that with anything in the case, the latch would pop open. The latch has so little tension that the added pressure inside the case of the foam compressing around the gun was too much for it. Not having a case that will stay latched renders this case useless and I will be returning it promptly.
Maybe I just got a “dud” since there are no other negative reviews and I would hate to think BPS would continue to sale an item that had such obvious defects. However, be warned.

I have had other hard side cases before but none of them were quite this nice,for the money I think it is made pretty sturdy.The locks are not pick proof but what can you expect,their actually made to keep children not thieves out.All in all I would buy another one if needed.It has a nice soft padded carrying strap if you use that type of thing.It even has a nice metal medallion on the side.
