I bought these boots for my wife and typically she wears a size 8, but these boots, marked 8, were a whole size too big, even with thick socks. Planning on exchanging for a size 7.

Bought these for Christmas for my wife. She loved em. Great fit warm and dry. We live in west ky with moderate winters.

The functionally of this boot was as expected. However, the design and workmanship of where the leather, rubber, and insulation came together in the heel left it very rough and quickly caused rubs and open wounds on my heels. I am not sure this will go away with "break-in" of the shoe because the rubber and stitching are very stiff. Although I like the concept of being able to quickly slip the boot on and zip it up, I would not buy the boot again.

Had our first snow fall for 2012 last night and these boots where the perfect Christmas present. Fit perfectly, felt good on her feet, light weight and kept her feet warm.

This boot only comes in whole sizes. If you wear 1/2 sizes should you order a size up or down?

Hubby wears a 91/2 but had to order a 10, they fit him fine with just a little roominess. I wear a 6 and ordered same, perfect fit...true to size
