RedHead® All-Season Classic II Zip-On Insulated Waterproof Rubber Boots for Ladies
Hubby and I bought these at a very reasonable price to use for our new puppy. We are training a new puppy and spend much time in our backyard all hours of the day and night. We needed something that would be easy on and off, waterproof through north country winters and easy to clean. For the price these fit the bill. Fit is true to size and they are sturdy. The flaw and possibly the reason so cheap is that the seam running around the boot where the rubber meets the leather top is thick and rubs inside the boot. This would be bothersome if we were wearing these for long periods. I would not be able to walk far in them with the rubbing. I wear thick wool socks inside them to head out the door and since its only a romp or two around the yard they work well.

They don't last!!!
I actually love these boots, unfortunately they don't hold up. I have had (3) pairs and they all have cracked at the bend points after a couple months of occasional use and are no longer water resistant. I have also had the metal strip (in the sole of the boot) come through into the inside of the boot and into my foot. I thought I had stepped on something and got it stuck in my boot, when I realized that it was actually a part of the boot itself. I would be happy to pay more, if they were made to last.

Poor Design and Workmanship
The functionally of this boot was as expected. However, the design and workmanship of where the leather, rubber, and insulation came together in the heel left it very rough and quickly caused rubs and open wounds on my heels. I am not sure this will go away with "break-in" of the shoe because the rubber and stitching are very stiff. Although I like the concept of being able to quickly slip the boot on and zip it up, I would not buy the boot again.

So far so good
The boots are really comfortable and give lots of support to the ankles when walking on rough terrain. So far they have been waterproof while walking in wet grass and rinsing the lower part off under the tap.
