Hubby and I bought these at a very reasonable price to use for our new puppy. We are training a new puppy and spend much time in our backyard all hours of the day and night. We needed something that would be easy on and off, waterproof through north country winters and easy to clean. For the price these fit the bill. Fit is true to size and they are sturdy. The flaw and possibly the reason so cheap is that the seam running around the boot where the rubber meets the leather top is thick and rubs inside the boot. This would be bothersome if we were wearing these for long periods. I would not be able to walk far in them with the rubbing. I wear thick wool socks inside them to head out the door and since its only a romp or two around the yard they work well.

I find for a ladies boot the heel area is too wide and
the foot tends to slip around too much. I need extra
socks to keep this from happening. That means I can only wear them when it is extremely cold.

The boots are really comfortable and give lots of support to the ankles when walking on rough terrain. So far they have been waterproof while walking in wet grass and rinsing the lower part off under the tap.

This boot only comes in whole sizes. If you wear 1/2 sizes should you order a size up or down?

Hubby wears a 91/2 but had to order a 10, they fit him fine with just a little roominess. I wear a 6 and ordered same, perfect fit...true to size
