The boots are as the other reviewers described except no zipper. They are not overly impressive boots. When I compared them to boots I could buy at a big box store for the same price, I found them to be more comfortable. I wear them to work and back and would not attempt ice fishing or any serious cold weather activity in them.

Bought these boots 2 years ago.. Within 13 months the upper portion of the boot foot went to
cracking and leaking. Can only use in dry weather now... Rubber must have been dry rotted like a car
tire...

I was really looking forward to these and was happy to see them when the box came. I have a lot of work to do and it is rainy and muddy in northern california...you can't chop wood in sneakers! They looked and felt great...seemed perfect until I tried to put one on. Extremely difficult and couldn't even get it on until I put on a brand new sock. Even then it seemed akin to giving birth to my foot. There is no zipper...they are supposed to be slip on. It took great effort to get the other on as well. I was wondering if I had gotten the wrong size, but once in they fit great. I have had them about a week and they work well but for the fact that they are falling apart...at least the right one is...first two days it was still had to pull on and the pull strap on the ankle started breaking the seams and tearing away...a few days later the inn lining, quilted, where the heel slides back until it fits in the bottom is tearing too! I could understand this happening if it had been years on owner ship but these haven't been here a week...they seem to be great otherwise especially around the property...but if these problems have occurred already...what will go next? Too bad I can't give them a better rating

I normally wear a 10 1/2. The 11 fit well. I added arch supports and they are a very comforable fit with regular crew socks.Top 1000 Contributor
