I bought a pair to shovel the snow on the driveway. I just returned from a fishing trip with these boots. Because of the tread design, they ARE VERY SLIPPERY.
The tread design goes from toe to heel instead of left to right. You get NO - ZERO traction.
I fell several times shoveling the snow and I fell while on a fishing trip and almost broke my leg.
I can't say this enough.....DO NOT BUY....

I purchased these boots in a mens size last year and thye have already split between the soles and the rubber sides. They are not even available in mens sizes anymore-maybe because of these sort of defects. I cannot find my receipt but as a long time loyal customer of Basspro I hope I can return or exchange them.

I wore these boots every work day in what I would call "wet" conditions for about 2 months. The good: they kept my feet dry and pretty warm but I did have to buy an additional set of insoles for better insulation - I should also mention that here in GA the coldest it got was about 25 degrees. After almost 2 months the rubber started splitting in a couple places so they no longer keep my feet dry. Bottom line is, I would not recommend these boots for those looking for long lasting boots or those in cold climates.
