RedHead Adjustable Powder Measure
Very good, BUT...
Well made, works as it says it does BUT, I don't know what black powder they used to set the number markings. First mark is "10", which is suppose to be 10 grains of powder. Wanting 15 grains of FFFg for my pistol I set it on 10 and 1/2 ( as close as I could guess ) and weighed the charge. Not even close. Tried to fill the tube to overflow and tap it adding more as it settled. Little more weight, not enough.
Long story short, I have mine marked at "21" +/- to get the 15 grains. So I'd advise users to always weigh the charge and mark the adjusting shaft.
Other than that I'd give this one a 9 1/2 out of 10.

Must Have Measure
This is possibly the best measure and price on the market. I have had mine for over 15 years and still going strong. The tension screw can be tightened to hold the measure exactly were you set it to ensure a consistant load every time. Equipped with the swivel funnel type spout makes loading a breeze.
One Great Measure that will be with you through thick and thin for many, many years.

this powder measure is great. you can't beat it for the price. It is very simple to use. Mine has lasted a long time.

The swivel spout is what sets this measurer apart from the rest, when swiveled over the powder it removes any excess powder and with the spout there is no more cupping your hand around the end of the barrel to prevent spillage. Everyone who shoots a muzzleloader has to have a measure...it might as well be this one
