I originally purchased these in early December 2011 to replace a pair of cracked rubber boots. They are warm and always keep my feet dry, wore them till end of January's late bow season then for spring turkey with no problems. Have been doing great so far this year even after hurricane sandy left about 7" of water all around the trail I take to my deer stand back in the swamp. Even better is I was able to get them in wide so they fit perfect.

I bought 2 pair of these for my son -in-laws as they both go deer hunting and I know they did not have very warm boots, and they were so excited about them I know they really likes them as they both tried them on, which is unusal for them. Thanks for the good products you have and sure they will get lots of good years out of them.

The gift recipient wore them right away & loved the light weight, waterproof feature, fit, and we really loved the price! This is the 3rd similar boots we've purchased from BPS and we're never sorry. Great deal, they are soooo warm when you need it, but so breathable when it's warm out, it's weird. Even when submerged in a river, minutes later they seem dry. Awesome boots. The laces untie a lot, and look like they won't last the life of the boots, but that's a small worry easily fixed. Well worth the money. We ship these in versus paying huge prices where we live, for less Thinsulate and overall, less boot. Highly recommend!

Yes you should regularly spray them. The first pair I had, the waterproofing stayed for most of the season. I did not spray them and they are no longer waterproof. Bought a second pair, with a spray every month or so have had no problemsA:Â
We've never had to spray anything on these boots to keep them waterproof. And we get them wet all the time and never feel a thing.

I would go 12, that will give you enough room for heavy socks. I normally wear an 11.5 or 12 and 12 fit me great.A:Â
I would order either 12 or 12.5 depending on the feel you like. if you don't mind a little tighter of a fit order a 12 but if you want more of a free feel in the boot order a 12.5A:Â
Depends on the thickness of your socks, If your socks aren't too thick (and with the Thinsulate you don't need very thick socks) the 12 would likely be OK.

Yep, that's when we hunt and we love them, we don't even wear particularly thick socks.A:Â
very warm but buy them bigger than what u wear i wear 10 and a half and bought 12 plent of room for warm socks if i bought my size they would not workA:Â

They will definitely be warm in these. But, as a recommendation, increase the size by a half, if you're going to be wearing thick socks. The insides of these are thick and "pillowy"; so, buying your specific size will make it a little cramped when wearing thicker socks.
