This boot is wide open around the ankle . If you walk in the water and slip in this boot will fill up with water and hold it in.

I ordered my normal shoe size but these were very loose fitting. Sent them back in exchange for the next smaller size. Still waiting for the replacement order to arrive.

These are very comfortable, and are waterproof as advertised. Be careful with the sizing........they do run a bit off. I am 10.5 size normally, but ordered the 10 based off previous reviews. That was a good call..........because they still have some wiggle room even wearing thick socks.

just to let everyone k now these boots are very good, waterproof wear great. when i ordered these i ordered myself and a friend a pair, he wore his first fishing and when he got home, he called and told me to order him another pair and also order his son that also fishes a pair, so i took and wore my for a while and ordered myself a 2nd pair, theyere good cheap boots and right now are on sale.................love um.......
