Rated 4 out of 5 by Good size I have a franchi i12 shotgun that is a tight fit in a standard 52 in. case. The 53 in. size is much easier to use. I go through a gun case every year because I do a lot of hunting. The case zipper will rip almost every hunting season. This 53 in. case has good construction and a strong looking zipper. Since I have not used it hunting yet, I can not rate this case durability. June 22, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent product Purchased this for newly acquired mosin nagant m91/30 and was just expecting a cheap nylon soft case. Was pleasantly surprised by quality of product! Mosin fits perfectly and there is still some room to fit a few packages of surplus ammo. Padding is super thick and will definitely protect my mosin from extra dents and dings. The only thing that would make this product any better would be storage pockets but that of course would raise price. Buy this product! You will not be disappointed. April 26, 2011

The inside area of the bag after it is all zipped up will accommodate a 51" total length shotgun without any problem.

However, it might be a bit of a stretch to get a full 52" length shotgun inside the bag.
