RedHead 4-Sided Layered Foam Archery Targets
I recently bought this item & used it this weekend. This will be my first year Bowhunting & thought this would be a great target to practice on. What a disappointment. I only shoot 35lb pull weight. & I was using regular practing arrows. At 20yards it went 3/4 through & at 10yards it went all the way through. If I had kept the reciept it would be going back. Really disappointed w/this product.

Bought this product when I bought a new crossbow. It doesn't stop the arrows before the fletches go into the target. Ruined 4 arrows. Used 2 ratchet straps to compress the target but still won't stop my arrows.

Not a bad value
My crossbow bolts completely penetrated the target even at 50 yards. However they didn't pass through. The bolts were difficult to remove. I made a wood block with a hole drilled partially through the size of the field point and used it to push the bolt out of the target. So the target works with some effort,

Wears Out Quick
I purchased this target Christmas eve and now 3.5 weeks later at around 10-30 shots per day pieces come out when I shoot it and am starting to shoot through it. If I stuck with only field points I'm sure it would last longer, but the main purpose I purchased it was to also sight in broad heads. About 10% of the shots I took were with broadheads with practice blades. I'm aware it would wear out quicker with broadheads, but for the price and how long it lasted, there are other layered foam targets that cost less.
All arrows did pull out nicely (removed the tip for broadheads). It is light, so I strapped it to a table when shooting to stop it from moving.
