RedHead® 3-in-1 Tripod/Bipod/Monopod Shooting Stick
can be used as a FIVE-in-1 system
On a DIY backcountry muzzleloader trip last September for elk and mule deer in a high-altitude CO wilderness, backpack weight was a top priority. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the RedHead 3-in-1, in addition to being great as monopod, bipod, or tripod shooting sticks, is useful as a spotting scope tripod, and even as a pair of trekking poles. For use with the scope, I shaved down a little of the rubber ribbing on 1 side of the Y on top. This let me slip on a Brunton window mount and clamp it down securely, so my expensive Zeiss scope wouldn't come crashing down. For use as trekking poles, I simply replaced the nut and machine screw holding one of the 2 rear poles (normally unremovable) with a wingnut, washer, and longer machine screw. Of course, the poles of the RedHead 3-in-1 are not meant to be used this way, so you can't be too rough on them, else they'll slide or bend. Nonetheless, the RedHead 3-in-1 was a sturdy and extremely versatile backcountry tool, which I'll definitely use again in the future.

I use this tri pod for deer hunting and target shooting. I am 67 years old and not as steady as I used to be, so this makes up the difference. I have never used it at full length, but it works great for sitting or kneeling. I would buy it again. No complaints.

Used this product to take a deer with this year. Worked very well. I set it up in the field and had it set to the height I wanted and just waited for a deer to come out. Made a great shot right into the heart and lungs. These sticks helped maintain a really steady shooting platform. They are easy to use and light to carry.

I was looking at various types of shooting sticks when I stumbled upon this. I am lucky to have a Bass Pro store close to me and I went to check it out, its really light weight, it has tons of adjust-ability letting me shoot from a chair, or while sitting on the ground, maybe I need to be on my knees behind cover or standing this has such a huge range to it! I have only used it while sitting and on my knees but its very stable, I have been using it with my scope on 16 power to make some 56 yard shots with my pellet rifle and its steady and reliable.
The only bad is that if your changing the terrain or height that you need it takes a moment to open and close the locks to adjust heights, but its sturdy and reliable and will be around for more then 1 season of hunting! This is a solid buy for the price!
