RedHead 24 Gun Fire Resistant Safe
This product is designated a 24 gun safe. However, that number is really a theoretical maximum for use with simple long guns without protruding magazines and scopes, and with the shelving removed. In a more practical configuration with shelving installed, 6 long guns can be kept with plenty of space for pistols, ammunition and other storage.
The interior has a grey felt type covering on the walls and shelving. Underneath the felt the shelf framing is medium or higher density fiberboard, and the removable shelves appear to be steel. I do worry the fiberboard might warp under the weight of heavy ammo so I'm keeping that stacked on the bottom. The safe is painted with with an orange peel type texture black paint in low gloss. The paint withstood transport and installation without any noticeable marks and seems durable.
The safe uses 5 locking pins rather than 3 as is common on entry level safes. The dial and locking mechanism seem very solid and are made by Sargent and Greenleaf, a US vendor. The weight is about 435 pounds but it's easy to move on a furniture dolly.
Overall I'm really happy with my purchase. I think I got a great deal on a US made safe that will last the rest of my life. I put in a couple stick-on LED lights that illuminate everything nicely.

I purchased this safe the other day and I am completely satisfied with it! Upon inspection in the store, it was built quite well! The nice part I found was that the extra shelves were not wood, but metal! Most other safes I've seen for even more money had composite shelves and only 3! You get 4 with this safe. I like the lock feature as well better than the electronic ones, I think are more reliable. I believe the cost of this safe is really worth the money compared to other safes of the same type. At just over 400 lbs, 2 people can handle getting it into a home with a 2 wheeler if you work safely and smart rather than hard! Very dooable! I would definately recommend this safe to anyone!

Best value for the money
I researched many gun safes in this category of size and capacity. I factored in everything from the weight, locking bolt number and size as well as type of lock. I wanted something that had some weight to it that would deter a quick grab. I also wanted a manual lock as I am not sold on digital locks if a battery failure can defeat the ability to access your safe. I researched this extensively and when I approached the salesperson at my local Bass Pro shop he stated that they do not sell long gun safes with digital locks because of the failure rate they tend to have. That was a good selling point. Another is the fact this safe is American made! Not an import! Do your research and you will be amazed at how many reputable brand name safes are made in China. There are many who complain that the capacity of 24 is overrated. Let me say that if you have 24 guns don't buy a 24 gun safe. Buy a safe with more room. Now I will say that there is an issue with my shotguns with 28 inch barrels not fitting under the top shelf so they sit in the last 2 holding spaces near the door because the barrels stick above the top shelf. It does create an issue with the door when I try to close. So if you have multiple guns with long barrels you may want to go up a level for the extra space. Overall I love my choice in picking this safe and the quality and security it provides.

Got it on sale for a good price and although I wish it was a little bigger it is what I could afford. I looked at lots of other safes. From reviews I read I determined that the mechanical lock was the way to go. Many complained about failed electronic locks and owners having to cut the safes open. The fact that it is made in the USA is great also. Trim around the shelves wasn't attached very well, staple gun took care of that. Had to put the Kentucky long rifle up front, it is too long to fit under the top shelf. Overall the construction is good and this should last for many years.
