Rated 2 out of 5 by freelandhunter ehh. it works
It does what its supposed and seems sturdy enough to last, but the pockets are oddly shaped and aren't able to hold too much because of it. It is too large a pack for a day pack and too small for a comfortable backpacking multi day hunt. The odd shaped pockets make it hard to pack a whole lot of gear especially if you put in a 2-3 liter hydration pack. The small pockets, again are odd and seem as if whoever designed it did so for a specific item because they aren't great for too many things. I will be returning mine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by HTM1 Comfortable to carry, but has quality issues
Bought this backpack at the beginning of the 2013 hunting season and carried it during nine hunts. Comfortable to carry with plenty of room for my equipment, food and drinks. Although, after about four hunts, I noticed stitching on the straps were unraveling. Also, the fabric along one of the zippers started to separate. The only other complaint I have is when filled close to capacity, the zippers have a hard time closing and I have to lift up on both sides of the zippers in order for it to close. I will be returning it for a different brand/style.

I've been looking for a pack for months that's waterproof, lightweight has both hip and chest buckles, and has a pouch in the front. If you're like me and you hate putting your rain gear or your extra sweater or something in your pack because then it just makes it to bulky and uncomfortable to wear. Having that front pouch is essential for a quick strip of layering and shoving into your bag. I love the fact the straps are super comfortable and the built in frame allows it to always lay flat on your back, no matter how packed you have it. I wore this pack all day and never once had my back or shoulders hurt. And usually that happens EVERY time! I also love all the pockets. There is a secret compartment for everything; water bottle holders on the side, snack compartment, bladder, keys, etc. RedHead thought this out. The only cons I have for this bag is that the zippers and material are pretty noisy and that it isn't WATERPROOF but WATER RESISTANT. Big difference! I don't understand why they don't just make everything waterproof for hunting. It would make everything so much easier. However, they somewhat fix that problem with the rain fly. Not sure how that works yet, I haven’t had to use it. But next month I'll be on an Oregon Elk Hunt in the snow and I'll be sure to test it out. I give it 4 stars because of the noise and non-waterproof skin. But I think this is a very nice and comfortable pack.
