RedHead 1856 Fleece Windproof Lined Camo Jacket for Men
I purchased fleece for quitness and warmth. On a recent trip to Wyoming to hunt deer and antelope these windproff garments worked very well and met my expectations with ease. These blocked the wind very well even in temps from mid 20's to mid 30' with winds 20 to 25 mph. The only reason I did not give these a 5 star rating was the short time I have used them.

Looking for a light weight windproof jacket, this one is a good choice. Perfect camo to match my other gear, fits well, windproof. I was especially inpressed with the ventilation system in the upper arms allowing you to stay cool while moving uphill, weather changes, etc without the possibility of spooking game by having to take the jacket off.

I see there are reviews about a bad smell. That is NOT my experience with these garments. In fact I liked my first purchase so much that I ordered another complete set. These windproof fleece outfits are absolutely magnificent. They work great in moderately high temps (50 to 60 degrees) without an undergarment, all the way down to the low 20's with an expedition weight undergarment. If you're looking for warmth in a lightweight package, especially for bowhunting, this is the outfit for you. I really like the outfitter brown camo too, haven't had any problem with deer picking me off. I'm not a big fan of velcro, but the makers of this garment have minimized the size of the contact tape to allow for minimal noise. If you're looking for some good outfits at a great value with great performance in a wide range of temps, that does not have a bad smell, this stuff is for you. I highly recommend the 1856 windproof fleece. You will not be dissatisfied.

Comfortable, quiet and excellent as a middle layer when it's really cold and an outer layer when cool. Price is excellent for the product. Want a wool set too, when I got the money...but this is excellent for the money! I read reviews that claimed it to be noisy? Must be wearing corduroy underneath? Have not experienced that problem.
